Keshe Chow - Writer

Keshe writes short stories, flash fiction, and poetry. She has a novel in the works.


Keshe was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and migrated to Australia when she was two years old. She currently lives in Melbourne with her partner, two kids, and two cats. In her day job, she is a veterinarian who is lucky enough to work with cats as well as a number of other species! She spends much of her spare time dreaming of country houses, staying as long as possible in her pyjamas, and drinking far too much tea.

Her work is featured in Maudlin House, Rust+Moth, Okay Donkey Magazine, Hobart, and others. She won the Perito Prize for short fiction in 2020, the Yarra Literary Prize in 2021, the Rachel Funari Prize for Fiction in 2021, and the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards Prize for an Unpublished Manuscript in 2022.

She is represented by literary agent Tricia Lawrence at Erin Murphy Literary Agency.
